The Museum of the City of New York and Queens Museum have embarked on an 18-month project to make their collections from the 1939/40 and 1964/65 New York World’s Fairs accessible, thanks to a generous Cataloging Hidden Special Collections and Archives grant from the Council on Library and Information Resources (CLIR).
Follow us as we share collection highlights for the duration of the grant and celebrate the 75th and 50th anniversaries of the Fairs in 2014.
The Museum gratefully acknowledges the support of the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation in the CLIR program.
#QMcountdown - Just 4 days till the Queens Museum re-opens! Have you planned your trip? More info on the grand celebrations here.
